Bombay high court yesterday instructed Shah Rukh Khan to transfer Rs 1 crore with the court before launching his film RA.One. “The accused (Shah Rukh, his production houseand Eros Entertainment) are instructed to transfer an amount of Rs 1 crore as pay-order to the court and then launch the film,” the division bench of chief justice Mohit Shah and justice Roshan Dalvi said.The jury was hearing the application submitted by tv maker and writer Yash Patnaik, who contends that he’s the initial copyright owner of the idea and the content of RA.One, made by Red Chillies Entertainment.

The jury added that if the accused didn’t transfer the cash tomorrow, an injunction against the film’s launch would become functional.”It is the most unhappy part of the film industry that folks use others’ ideas and then do not want to pay or provide them credit,” the bench said.The court has kept closing judgement on the matter of copyright breach awaiting, and would hear reasons in due course of time.
