The application has been submitted after giving 2 lawful notices to Balaji Telefilms, the makers of the movie. As the film producers didn’t respond to the notices, Prasad made a decision to move the High Court over the matter.
Smitha’s family members came to realize that they made the obscene movie according to inputs provided by an claimed boyfriend of Smitha in Chennai. A angry Prasad lashed out at the producers of The Dirty Picture and told, “What right do the maker and the movie director have to make this movie, without the family members’ permission?”
